Malaysiakini: By-election – NOT in Perak but in Kedah

Another late nite sms & echo-ed by Malaysiakini’s report.

” By election Bukit Selambau state seat, Kedah.Arumugam resigned due to tremendous pressure on him & his family to defect to BN. Confirmation later today”

If what is written is true… it means Arumugam has:

  • Been offered to be a $$WHORE$$, accept the $$ or harm will come to him & family…. typical “carrot & stick” BN-style “offer” …
  • Chose to “fuck it”…. resign & leave….
  • Keeps his dignity & hopefully, the safety of himself & his family.

The above is just a wild guess by delCapo…. but it fits.

A brave man Arumugam…. *SALUTE* … God Bless you & your family.

We pray for his family’s safety…. can PR give this man protection & prevent another case of Bala?? We hope so…

Now comes the by-election…. we hope PR can do the right thing & makes the right choice of candidate … & be watchful of ALL OUT attack from BN.

It’s one of those seats with significant % of all 3 races (50.2% Malay, 29.5% Indian, 19.3% Chinese, 1% others)… it shall be a chance to showcase a true multi-racial campaign… an Anak Bangsa Malaysia campaign!!!!

If done well… this seat is an easy win back for PR…. & what a nice distraction to Najib & BN… just when they think they can avoid another expensive defeat!!

I believe the MIC goons will come fast to grab this one, and believe me unless the Makkal Sakthi chaps are there reminding the Indians of the things and issues that they have to remember, the voters will gladly vote for MIC as they have usually done. Arumugam being the only Indian exco in the state will have an effect on the Indian voters there. PKR has to put in a capable Indian rep who doesn’t run and this rep will surely become an exco if he wins. If PKR losses, then the rest of the PKR reps in Kedah might just do a frog jump to UMNO and its game over for Pakatan. Therefore, even if the people want change, they just can’t seem to do it right.
