Joker of the Year – 2 front runners

In recent weeks, amidst the rumble and scramble of trying to contain Bersih3.0, Himpunan3.0, #OccupyDataran & the #mahasiswa against #PTPTN on top of the already stretched-out bandwidth of trying to make Najib and his BN officials look less moronic, the high-paying PR firms must have been too busy to cover the KL Mayor and Election Commission (SPR) chairman offices.

These two monkeys have issued statement after statements of great entertainment value and are now (only in April) are already hot favourites for the “Joker of the Year” title.

Examples below (click the names for more from google search):

Ahmad Fuad Ismail (KL Mayor): “  Dataran MERDEKA not venue for politics, dissent“.

Oi Mayor…. takde DISSENT and POLITICS mana kita boleh dapat MERDEKA in the first place? Bodoh!!!!

Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof (EC Chairman) : “EC chief: Our electoral roll is cleanest in the world

The comparison to the once famous Iraqi “We are Winning” Minsiter is uncanny…. hehehe… Baghdad Bob indeed.

Bloody fools but good for a few laughs lah…some more both also Tan Sri… bloody disgace… pity the other brilliant Tan Sri’s we know…. hahahahahahaha…

Why Bersih 3.0?

All the reasons have been stated and valid. You can google and read.

For delCapo… it comes down to this:

The Election Commission (SPR) is NOT independent.

Not only is it not independent like it should be, it is the tool used by Najib’s Barisan Nasional government to corrupt Malaysia’s democracy.

delCapo has been calling for their suspension in August 2011.

So cut the bullshit, Najib… as long as the EC is what it is today, any elections you call will be an insult to the people.

That is why Bersih 3.0 (40 countries involved, no less) will be the biggest ever…. and you will feel the rakyat’s wrath.

!!! PEOPLE POWER!!!

Quote of d day : Nazri “May 13 and London Riots justify Peaceful Assembly Bill 2011″

LMFAO!! ahahahahaha…. that was my first reaction when I read the sms news.

Seriously, “Nazridiocy” at it’s best again.

Mr Taxi king… a language question – “Riot” vs “Demonstration / Protest”. Use a dictionary lah.

Which part of any of the Bersih, Anti-ISA, Lawyer’s Walks, Anti-Lynas, Occupy Dataran, Hindraf, Malaysian’s for Teoh Bang Hock / Death in Custody… even our good friends Perkasa’s demonstrations, protests had any HINT of RIOT in them? Which one?

The closest thing to a riot all those assemblies has was the platoons of RIOT police (FRU) the government deployed. The only violence was from their batons, shields, kicks, punches and water cannons.

When people walk and express their support or displeasure in public, it’s called FREEDOM.

When motherfuckers go chopping up their neighbours, or break into shops, start fire, steal goods… it’s called CRIME.

In both the May 13 and London riots the problem were NOT about what laws or regulations the country had… it’s about some deep social issues.

BODOH!

Now, a logic question – you seriously think your all-mighty Peaceful Assembly Bill 2011 could have STOPPED May13 or the London riots?

Those rioters were going to stop and think “hang on a second…. the Peaceful Assembly thing say cannot lah… better stay at home and forget about going out to chop the fellas down the road”… or “blimey, there’s a law that say we disnae going oot and break them shop windows and steal them iPads and TVs like.. better we just go to the pub and have a peaceful pint, no?

ahahahaha….

Lastly, the best part of Nazridiocy is… the lies or the lack of facts.

“To strengthen his view, Nazri cited the London riots, which led to the ban on street demonstrations by the British government” – news

Erhem… Fact is – the British government only imposed  ”A 30-day ban on protest marches  in five ‘troubled’ boroughs of London.”

Nice try, bozo.

291111 – The day Malaysia gone backwards… again.

Alas… Najib and his BN government got their way… hastily bulldozed the Peaceful Assembly Bill through… Pakatan Rakyat MPs walked out in disgust and didn’t vote.. don’t know what the 7 “independents” did…

Bottomline - Malaysians now have less freedom.

We have GOSTAN in a big way today.

Members of Parliament who did not oppose the bill – The Rakyat shall never forget.

the rakyat awaits GE13

Bad Duet spoils a Beautiful Night

It was a brilliant night, weather wise… people power and youth spirits in the air..

A call for a peaceful gathering at our own Freedom Square, Dataran Merdeka – a symbol of our country’s independence, one of the most popular spot for locals and tourists to visit… especially on a night like this… for a group of people to speak freely of current socio-political issues, especially one that is hotly debated by individuals, civil society members and politicians.

What did the Government do? An order was given DBKL and PDRM combined to seal off the Dataran for “safety reasons”. Not even visiting families (long weekend) and tourists were allowed in.

When we pressed for reasons – we were audience to a 20-min comical duet between a PDRM ASP and the DBKL officer-on-duty telling us the other party was in charge… some samples of the duet dialogue:

  • “PDRM only closes the road… the Dataran is governed by DBKL.”
  • “DBKL rules say cannot enter between 1am and 6am (normally) but tonight the PDRM officers are here and they say no one can enter”

In the end, we were referred to a duet of boards hidden by the branches of an overgrown tree… a board that dates “1972″. The DBKL officer tried his best to read off it… the best he could do was telling us “so you see, we have rules…. you can enter the Dataran before 1am… but PDRM say tonight cannot” he started the chorus again without missing a beat.

Bottomline –  this group of intelligent and spirited citizen, made largely of youths whose peers are either busy at home on social media sites or downloading bootlegs, or at some parties taking candy pictures of themselves, was denied a platform once again.

Not to be deterred, they found their space at the footsteps of the Bar Council. The KL People’s Assembly by the Occupy Dataran group did convene afterall – peacefully, democratically, intelligently and with extremely constructive discussions and arguments.

Lots of sing along as usual

The KL People's Assembly in session

Shame on DBKL. Shame that it wasn’t allowed under the biggest flag pole standing.

KLCC – Peaceful Assembly, Public Protest and BERSIH too!

Hot and sunny Saturday afternoon… at Malaysia’s premier shopping mall and national icon… packed with locals and tourists… what did the KLCC management “coincidentally” decided to do?

Chin Huat saw the poetic irony in it too…. i was trying not to shake too much laughing and taking his pic.

The rest of the time was about a peaceful assembly, peaceful but strong public protest against a restrictive Bill and the ugly action of the government in trying to rush it through….

FREEDOM!!! MERDEKA!!!!

Until tonight at Dataran Merdeka, until we walk with the lawyers on Tuesday to Parliament to “let them hear it LOUD and CLEAR”.

FREEDOM!!! MERDEKA!!!!

Tipu Malaysia… now “better” than Myanmar

The current government’s strategy – 2 steps forward for a photo session and nice headlines, then 5 steps back on the fine lines.

1) Universities and University Colleges Act (UUCA) to be amended to allow students above 21 to participate in political activities. While the AG appeal against the case that was recently rule for the “UKM4″ students (same subject, same Act)

2) Printing Press and Publication Act – partial repeal. Regulations requiring annual renewal of press and publication licenses to be removed.
BUT – The home minister still have absolute power to decide on and  issue licences, on the conditions for the licences, and removal of licences. The Home Minister’s decision still cannot be challenged in court.

3) Police Act – to be repealed! – Hooray…. BUT (read below).
Lets put it this way - Myanmar (Yes, MYANMAR) just passed their own version of a Peaceful Assembly Bill… guess what? They have more freedom than us!!

Can’t wait to see the 2 replacements for ISA and EA… sure terror one!
For now… lets LET THEM HEAR IT!!!…
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PROTEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In Peaceful Assembly form lah.
Friday 25Nov 7.30pm – Candlight Vigil at Bar Council.
Saturday, 25Nov 2pm – KLCC Park
Saturday, 25Nov 7.30pm – Dataran Merdeka (will stay for the weekly #occupydataran assembly)
Also on Sat, Overseas Malaysians have also planned a GLOBAL ACTION DAY – 12 cities so far!!

How, Mr PM?

We hear that you and Rosie have completed your Hajj…. nicely cleansed without hitches, we hope =]

We hear that you are itching to make  11.11.11 significant (like calling for GE 13)

We hear that your inner cicles are telling you “it’s now or never”, or “all things are in place” for you to finally lead a General Elections and win.

We hear all these… why? We think your inner circles are not as trustworthy as you might think…. All these secrets and news all leaking worse than the parliament house roof.

Your own personal “home ministry” (shopping shopping shopping !!!), deputy PM , that Home Minister cousin, that MM teams are not exactly doing you favours, are they?

Those idiots funding and supporting Lynas, the smear Guan Eng campaigns in Penang, the anti-LGBTIQ news… not helping, uh?

Let us put it this way, Mr PM… 11.11.11 or whatever… just a date. You were never quite a historian nor a hero anyway so why start now?… take the rakyat’s advice – DON”T DO IT… or you will be the only loser. You will fail in the GE and your own party’s snakes and vultures will go for your blood… not sure if Rosie will stand by you even.

Wanna be a hero? Sack that DPM and Home Minister of yours… shut down the wife and daugther’s greed… tell that old MM to shut the fuck up… and show us some real balls and for a start – by implementing all the electoral reforms, tell Lynas to go home, no more 100-storey mega tower, no more nuclear ambitions, MACC to proscecute real cases of corruptions (that defense minister to start with). There are more to come but we’ll be here to tell you =]

Once again… call the GE13 anytime before real electoral reforms… Bersih 3.0will rise in your face together with ALL other current prominent movements and causes – Anti-Lynas, PPSMI, LGBTIQ, anti 100 mega tower, #occupy movements, “where r the cattles?”, Malaysians for Teoh Beng Hock, Anti AUKU movements, Anti ISA / EO human right groups, Scorpene trial watchers etc…

The people will rise and defeat your government.

Your own party vultures will nail your coffin.

Your choice.

Suspend the Election Commission (SPR) until Electoral Roll is clean!!

I dunno about you folks out there… but i have bloody  heard and seen enough !!

How fucken rotten is our Electoral Roll?!?!?!

  • Non-citizens are in the roll
  • Blatant and open recruitment of foreign workers as voters with signed contract… more like CON + THREATS.
  • IC with “00″ codes in the roll (who are these aliens?)
  • 3,500 people over 100 years ol still in the roll? That’s just in Sabah.. rock n roll, man… Malaysia damn alot of  centurions!!!
  • Duplicate voters (“coincidentally” all UMNO fellas)
  • Phantom voters (finally proven and admitted by EC after years of saying no such things exist)
  • Multi voters at single address (up to 50 in some uncovered cases)
  • Sudden suspicious big increase in new voters in certain constituencies
  • Dodgy postal votes (with cases of army personnel confessing in the faud cases)
  • Shifting of voters from one constituency to another without their consent
  • Recent knee jerk reactions by EC  when cases are reported, including deleting names off the electoral roll
  • More and more examples and cases appearing everyday, thanks to the diligent work of PAS, DAP, PKE, NGOs and NGIs (seriously.. the task is not easy and damn tedious)

Finally, Najib (or APCO’s reports finally got through the blink doors) recognizes ”the problem” and ask to setup some parliamentary select committee (PSC) on electoral reforms… Nazri just annouced this will happen in October….blah blah blah…

Yes yes, so you have finally realised the “WHy Bersih?” thingy was not for fun fun or opposition politics issit?… or finally realised you have to layan the rakyat because the heat is too fucken strong… cannot tahan.. ok fine, politics aside… how much a wayang kulit and waste of time this 5 BN + 3PR + 1 Independent MP PSC will be… how we think civil societies, NGOs and international observers should be brought in to joint the task force….nevermind for now, we save for another day of ranting.

Question is – So now how? Just wait?… harlow!! The shit is still stinking and more shit is still being covered up!!

This is what delCapo thinks… IMMEDIATELY:

  • Until the cleaning is done and100% integrity is returned to the Electoral Roll… NO ELECTIONS!!
  • Meanwhile, the entire SPR / EC rank and file personnel should be SUSPENDED!!!

WHY BERSIH, did you ask??
