This is not new (nearly a month old)… but delCapo only just managed to sit down and listen to the entire speech in one seating.
I urge you to do the same… the speech is nearly an hour long, but it’s worth every minute….
You may choose to ignore the details about USA, Afgan, Iraq, Israel, Palestine… or just listen to those parts as an interested citizen of the world.
BUT, DO listen/watch the rest from the point of view of striving for unity, democracy, equal rights and respect for all humanity.
I hope OUR elected representatives, politicians, leaders of all groups and organisations…. especially those in Government – Pakatan Rakyat or Barisan Nasional… will spend one hour listening to the speech.
I’ve chose to paste the entire text of the speech below as well… higlighting some sentences that really hits home for an Anak Bangsa Malaysia like me.

230609 – After more than 6 months since they tried, Parliament finally bulldozes to pass the DNA Identification Bill. So it shall be DNA I Act in no time (anyone seriously think the senate is gonna block it??? )
erhem…. delCapo had previously called for changing of the name to DSAI Bill… now I think it should be called DSAI Act!!
Just wanna highlight Nizar’s words when asked why he did what he did in parliament on his first day (also Jibby’s first day on his dream PM seat btw)… also tell all those who brand his action as “mindless rebellion” to KISS MY ASS.
There he was, reading out a pledge to uphold the laws embodied in the Federal Constitution which was, ironically, drafted by mostly Umno pioneers themselves and yet, his home state of Perak has been engulfed by a crisis started by the said party itself.
“I am a human being. When I held my right hand up to swear in, with the deepest part of my heart, I pledged that I would serve and uphold the Constitution. (And at that time), I spontaneously shouted out Bubar DUN (Dewan Undangan Negeri or state assembly) Perak.”
Bukit Gantang, Perak, Malaysia… we are lucky to live in Nizar’s time.
How many others do we know in public office conjures such touching, heart-wrenching honesty, dignity and righteosness??
How many MPs and Aduns truly feel, think, mean the words when they swear into office like Nizar did??
Heart and Soul… a decent human being, a true leader…. NIZAR!!!!!
I know delCapo has been supporting “BLACK” these days…. well, it’s always been a favourite colour anyway…
BUT… not all things black are desirable… for example, i think our country being blacklisted into the “Trafficking in Persons Report 2009″ is definitely not…..
So Home Minister, Immigration, PDRM… Let’s hear it…. what is your excuse??
so far… we hear an idiot aka Deputy Home Minister say “It is unfair to put us back on the list as we are doing our best” ….
HELLO!! W.T.F!?!?! Wadaya expect??… the report to lower their standards (like our local school system) so it’s easier to “pass” and feel good about ourselves!?!?!
Coincidentally, our human rights “champion” SUHAKAM is facing DOWNGRADE by the United Nations… read about it here.
The government, home ministry (helmed by 2one idiot after another) and the police actions are not helping… Suhakam’s ineffectiveness to whack them is quite obvious.
Maybe for a start… Suhakam should not have appointed a certain lawyer on board, uh?… just my personal opinion.

The survey was carried out by Merdeka Centre and the story picked up by The Malaysian Insider.
ok… delCapo is in no position to verify the stats revealed by Merdeka Centre… but somehow among my few disconnected circles of friends/acquantances/ workmates/ family… the stats simple dun represent them.
Maybe delCapo mixing with the wrong crowds.
THe Malaysian Insider’s Shannon Teoh has skifully picked up on the stats and subtlely shone a light on Najib:
Still, it seems Najib has surpassed expectations of Malaysians prior to his premiership, which began on April 3.
The Merdeka Centre also found that 45 per cent of Malaysians were satisfied with Najib in May, a point up from just before he stepped up as PM, which in turn was up from a low of 34 per cent in early March.

Ok… Nevermind the Malaysian Insider spin… so what’s delCapo main problems with the stats (beside not being convinced)?
1) If delCapo is conducting a national survey and there are 39% of “no respond”… it will NOT be published, let alone published and being used as a major news reference!!
2) There are many ways of conducting and presenting a survey’s demographics – age group, geographical location, education level, professional background, sexual orientation, etc…. all which would have made meaningful mainstream analysis of an opinion poll on our new PM (except maybe sexual orientation)… but what is the ONLY one this Merdeka Centre has chosen to use – RACE!!!…..WTF!?!?!?!
Hello!! We have been talking about Anak Bangsa Malaysia…. unity…. even the subject of your survey is trying to push his 1Malaysia propoganda lah… can you cut the race crap!?!?!?!
What is Merdeka Centre playing at?? Why has Malaysian Insider picked this up with such enthusiasm????

IT was a largely uneventful by-election day in Penanti….
Yes… some phantom voters were found…. some voter’s names mysteriously dissappeared from the registers…
The absence of a PR-BN battle was felt…. so was the presence of “pondok panas” by party members….
Many voters decided to stay away – whether to boycott, or on holidays with family (self-paid or BN-sponsored), or sheer laziness to come out and brave the 36 degC heat.
Record low turnout of <50%, but still a bgger majority win by PR’s Dr Mansor….
Special mention to Nai Khan Ari, the independent candidate of Thai origins…. who beat the more “famous” Aminah by 100 votes…. Kamarul as a joke with 56 votes (my dog has more friends!! hahahahaha)
delCapo didn’t do too badly too….. 5,558 majority is close enough to the predicted “just over 5,000″, no? hehehe…..

It was a great rally at Taman Guar Perahu hosted by a fiery and uncompromising Chegu Badrul…. of great speakers, inclding Khalid Ibrahim, Mat Sabu (local boy who put the crowd instiches with his comical style of speaking), Lim Guan Eng, Azmin Ali and Anwar.
Too bad they ran out of time, finishing at 12 midnite on the dot…. Nizar was in the area but the crowd of 3000+ at Taman Guar Perahu didn’t get to see him.
Most of the speakers whacked BN and UMNO… you would think they might let up since UMNO is not contesting… but the UMNO-orchestrated police harrassment of Pakatan Rakyat leaders, including Chegu Bard and DAP maestro Lim Kit Siang, + the banning of terms like “Altantuya/Aminah” “Perak” did not go down well…. and they came out firing!! YEAH!!
The most important thing is for Penanti to come out and vote & come out early!!
The most ridiculous stories of the nite surrounded (1) UMNO’s encouragement of Penanti folks NOT to vote (!!), and (2)UMNO’s sponsorship of 2000 voters to go on “holiday” to places like Padang Besar with RM100 pocket money each + transportation!!
A PKR sure-win… delCapo thinks by over 5,000.
Home Minister & PDRM…. your guys cannot even give (or cannot be bothered to give) good reasons for the arrests anymore…. just tangkap, tangkap, tangCrap…
Once again – It is NOT working!!! stop wasting the Rakyat’s money!!!
